Erin Callahan examines the political dimension of Bob Dylan’s oeuvre, not only through his caritative commitments in the 1980s but also through an analysis of his setlist choices during his most recent tours.
Erin Callahan is professor of English at San Jacinto College in Houston, Texas (USA) and is the author of I Am American Singing: Bob Dylan’s Identity Unified Through Linguistic Performance (PhD) and The Politics and Power of Bob Dylan’s Live Performances.
