Maîtresse de conférences à l’université Rennes 2 depuis 2016, mes recherches portent sur le genre et les médias états-uniens. Je m’intéresse plus particulièrement à la place des femmes dans les industries médiatiques, aux séries télévisées et à la voix dans les médias audiovisuels. Je suis co-rédactrice en chef de la revue anglophone InMedia: The French Journal of Media Studies et membre du bureau de l’Association Française d’Études Américaines. En 2023-24, je suis en délégation au CNRS (UMR LARCA) pour approfondir mes recherches sur WNYC, la radio municipale de la ville de New York.
I’ve been an associate professor at the University of Rennes 2 since 2016. My research focuses on gender and American media. I am particularly interested in the place of women in media industries, in radio, in television series, and in the place of voice in audiovisual media. I am co-editor in chief of the English-language journal InMedia: The French Journal of Media Studies and a board member of the French Association of American Studies. I am also head of the American and English studies master’s program. In 2023-24, I am on academic sabbatical and a visiting research fellow at the LARCA research unit (Université Paris Cité – CNRS) to pursue my work on WNYC, New York City’s public radio.
