“Kings of Late Night and the Reign of Trump: Television satire and free speech in America’s transforming media and political landscape.”

Jessica Thrasher Chenot is Associate Professor in American Studies at Université de Rouen Normandie. She co-directs the Applied Foreign Languages Master’s program and is co-director of the research area Espaces, Cultures, Politique at the ERIAC laboratory. She teaches US civilization, current political affairs in the English-speaking world, and professional communication at the bachelor’s and master’s levels. Her research topics focus on representation, gender, and US television.
